Meraj Noor has joined K&L Gates Straits Law LLC, the Singapore office of the global law firm K&L Gates, as a Partner in the firm’s M&A practice.
Noor graduated from Cardiff University School of Law in 2004. He is an Indian-qualified lawyer and a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore, with 16 years of experience practicing in Dubai, India, and Singapore. His corporate practice focuses on Southern Asia, particularly India-related transactions, and he has extensive experience in cross-border corporate deals, especially capital markets transactions.
Before joining K&L Gates, Noor was the Deputy Chair of the India Group at DLA Piper for over 16 years. He was also previously associated with Amarchand Mangaldas.
Along with Noor, David Kuo has also transitioned from DLA Piper to K&L Gates.
