Ravi Kumar, formerly a Partner at IndusLaw, has joined Ramanathan & Vahanvati (R&V) as a Partner.
A 2002 graduate of the National Law School of India, Bangalore, Kumar brings over 22 years of experience. His expertise lies in public and private M&A transactions, private equity, and Indian securities regulations, including the Indian Takeover Code and Delisting Regulations.
Kumar is well-versed in buyout M&A transactions for both listed and unlisted companies, across various sectors. He regularly advises Indian conglomerates and their sponsors on growth strategies, asset monetization, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and board advisory matters.
Before joining R&V, Kumar held key positions, including a Partner role at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and in-house roles with private equity funds, GE Corporate Finance, and Avenue Capital India.
R&V, a boutique law firm, was founded in 2021 by former AZB Partners Ashwin Ramanathan and Essaji Vahanvati.
