Senior Advocate and former Allahabad High Court Judge, Justice Vimlesh Kumar Shukla, passed away on Saturday, June 29, at the age of 69.
Justice Shukla enrolled as an advocate with the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council in 1981. He began his legal practice focusing on civil and constitutional law at the Allahabad High Court.
He served as a judge of the Allahabad High Court from 2002 to 2017. In 2016, following the elevation of Justice DY Chandrachud to the Supreme Court, Justice Shukla was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court.
