On August 1, Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India commemorated the birth anniversary of its late founder, Rajiv K. Luthra, and celebrated the firm’s Foundation Day in Mumbai.
The event honored Luthra’s passion for art and culture, featuring the critically acclaimed musical dance production “18 Days, Dusk of an Era.” Directed by Kathak artists Bharat R. Prabhath and Sharat R. Prabhath, this multimedia production narrated the epic tale of the Mahabharata.
Commenting on the event, Gayatri Luthra, wife of the late Rajiv Luthra, said, “This event was a testament to Rajiv’s love for art and culture. This musical was the last event he hosted in Delhi, and there was no better way to remember him on his special day.”
The event was attended by several notable figures, including Aamir Khan, Zarine Khan, Dr. Rati Godrej, Hormuzd Godrej, Dr. Jamuna Pai, Charu Sharma, Nisha Jamwal, Rajesh Shah, Bina Aziz, and Ananya Goenka.
“The evening showcased the triumph of our benevolent founder, Rajiv K. Luthra, in building a lasting legacy called Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India,” added Managing Partner Harry Chawla.
Rashmi Uday Singh, Luthra’s elder sister, reflected, “Rajiv, my younger brother, is my hero—a magnificent, golden-hearted legal superstar who continues to live on in the hearts of millions of people whose lives he touched. He inspires us to turn every setback into a comeback.”
His son, Advait Luthra, added, “Dad created an organization that was always meant to be an extension of himself. It is indeed an honor to lead the ‘Rajiv K. Luthra Foundation’ and carry on his legacy.”
Rajiv K. Luthra founded the firm in the early 1990s during India’s economic liberalization.
